This place is great for a couples weekend getaway, or for a wedding! A hugely versatile property with its own boat landing. A bunch of college friends got together for an early fall weekend. It was beautiful! The cabins had all the amenities of home, very clean, and cozy! We are looking forward to our next visit.
We happened upon these lakeside cabins by happenstance during an up and back biking trip on the Paul Bunyan Trail. We were winging it as far as accommodations since we also had camping gear with us. A last minute phone call to a very accommodating owner made for a happy night with a warm shower, hot meal, cold beer and soft bed possible. The cabins are right off the trail so super convenient. They are clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Access to the lake is as good as it gets! We would definitely stay here again.
Really nice cabin we were happy that they were able to take us in the last minute. It was unexpected overall we really liked this place. We would recommend it to try it. Water heater works really good. Heat was amazing atmosphere was incredible.

Sunset House at Bayside Cabins and Resort is a wonderful venue for a family vacation, a girls' trip or a guys' fishing adventure! Accommodations are top notch, clean and with everything you need to relax and have a lovely stay!
We (5 adults, 2 kids, and 2 babies) stayed in the Norway Pine cabin for two nights. They are such cute cabins with all the accommodations! Very nice cabin getaway for a very reasonable price! We will definitely be coming back! :)
It's been such a wonderful stay, how we ended up here still has me confused but here we are just enjoying it. Managed to pull together a Thanksgiving dinner and have been in the cabin going on day 5. Tonight we will pack up and clean up after ourselves and move onto the next destination. I don't think anyone else is staying on the property so it's pretty much been to ourselves. Maybe one year we will check it out in the spring or summer.
Cozy private cabins on a beautiful and well-kept lake! We stayed for two nights and were impressed with the clean cabin and accommodations provided. The only downside is there really isn’t anything to do locally unless you start at 20+ minutes away, but that’s not related to Bayside Cabins. We will visit again!
